How you choose to move through the adventure is entirely up to you: use the new dual-stick controls, aim with the intuitive motion controls, stick with the classic controls or use elements from all of them.

Traverse diverse biomes as you uncover the space pirates' dastardly experiments and gather information about the toxic substance that has ravaged the planet.

This alien planet has areas and mazes that demand all your survival skills, yet have a beauty all their own, from the silent icy wastelands of Phendrana to the magma geysers of the Magmoor caves.

You can either rush to your next destination or take the time to carefully scan your surroundings to uncover the secrets of Tallon IV's creatures and history.

EXPAND YOUR ARSENAL AND TAKE ON ALIEN HORRORS
Using Samus' weapon arm, take on alien creatures, devious space pirates and energy-absorbing Metroids.

Return to places that were previously blocked to you and look out for clues in your surroundings to solve puzzles and get upgrades. You'll need your full arsenal, including the Ice Beam, missiles and various visors, to face all the dangers that lurk in every nook and cranny.
